Based on the critical jobs in the Northwest Georgia Advanced Manufacturing Work Ready Region, Georgia has determined the ratio of graduates in each field versus the number of employees needed for current jobs. This ratio drives our focus on closing the gap through ongoing education and training initiatives. The ideal ratio is 1.5 to 2 to ensure an adequate supply of workers.
