Hire Work Ready Application Form

Hire Work Ready is a new initiative to help Georgia's private-sector small businesses - those employing 50 or fewer people - build strong, skilled workforces. The state of Georgia will reimburse $250 in hiring and training costs for each Work Ready Certified employee hired, up to a maximum of five employees or $1,250 per company.

Participation in Hire Work Ready is a two-step process. To begin, please complete the following:

Your application will be evaluated by the Governor's Office of Workforce Development (GOWD) and, once approved, you will be invited to participate in a Hire Work Ready information session conference call. After completing this mandatory session, you can begin implementing Hire Work Ready in your company. Additionally, after being approved, you will be able to log in to the site and search for Work Ready certified job seekers.
